🚨 BHUK Junior Draft Tournament 2021 🚨

Ball Hockey UK are pleased to announce its first Junior event since the restart of ball hockey.

 

We will see a repeat of the highly successful junior draft tournament held in August 2019 and it will again be held at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield on the 9th October. 

 

The tournament will have a KHL themed and each player will receive their own personalised shirt.

 

This time around we will be deciding on the age groups once we have received all player entries, but we welcome applications from players between 4 and 19 years of age.

For those trialing for the Junior World Cup U16 Boys / U20 Girls Team and the U18 & U20 boys teams for the Junior World Championships in 2022 we are encouraging players to attend the event to showcase their ability ahead of selections.

 

The teams will be drafted across all age groups. Players will be selected randomly but they will be separated by experience into ‘pots’.  It will give players the chance to play with players from other teams across the country giving them a new experience. 

 

It is our intention that the teams will have an even level of playing ability spread across the teams making it as competitive as possible. 

 

We’re also looking for volunteer coaches and managers from the BHUK family to assist with the event.
